The 4th International Conference on Institutional and Technological Environment for Microfinance (ITEM4) will be organized by the Banque Populaire Chair in Microfinance of Burgundy School of Business on April 11-12, 2013 in Paris, France.
The ITEM4 conference will gather academics and practitioners working on financial inclusion in developed and developing countries. Participants will try to identify which lessons the North can learn from the South and the lessons the South can learn from the North. Debates will also be focused on financial inclusion as an economic instrument for social solidarity. Other microfinance related topics will be discussed in plenary sessions, most of which will be in English.
